Hair Improvement
I have often shared my struggles with dry hair since I moved to New Mexico more than five years ago. Even though I keep my curls in braids most of the time my hair really didn’t improve its condition … until now.
So some time back I discovered I have low porosity hair. I purchased Shea Moisture’s Low Porosity Protein-Free Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-In Conditioner and to my surprise, after using several products with no real improvement, my hair changed for the better.
My curls look healthier, shinier and maybe even thicker. In addition, it has grown a little. So I am pleased with the results. After I use all three products and allow the leave-in conditioner to dry, my hair becomes soft and detangles with ease.
I wash my hair every two weeks. Then apply Carol’s Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey and/or my homemade sheabutter (I use olive oil in the sheabutter instead of castor oil) and that’s it. I do reapply the leave-in and hair cream about two or three times a week. I also deep condition once a month. I use to do a whole lot more but not anymore.
Overall, I am so happy my hair has finally improved. It took some time but now the enhancement is noticeable.
