Xmas!

I don’t know how it happened but I ended up hosting Christmas dinner as well this year. I didn’t let my family influence the menu, like on Thanksgiving, and because of that, I was at a much calmer state.

As far as food goes during the holidays I decided to start the following traditions. For Thanksgiving I’ll prepare turkey and a rib roast and for Christmas I’ll cook lamb. My husband likes those meats so it’ll be good to keep it going. My vegan dishes will vary according to my mood. However, if I can find vegan turkey, roast and lamb I’ll keep those foods as traditions for me.

Below are just a couple of photos I took from the fab evening with family.

The Ancestry DNA kit is my favorite gift. Every time I see the commercial I say I am going to take a DNA test. I mentioned this to The Hubs like once maybe twice and on Christmas he gave me a kit of my own. I can’t wait to use it and will keep you all posted on the results.
